Super Bowl LIV gets underway at 6:30 p.m. Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers face off at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.
In addition to the on-field action — not to mention all those commercials — the high-profile Super Bowl halftime show promises a couple of household names performing together for the first time.
Here’s what you need to know about the singers and performances at the 2020 Super Bowl.
Who will perform at halftime?
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will team up this year to put on the halftime show. The NFL, Pepsi, and Roc Nation announced the decision in September, and it will be the first Super Bowl performance for both musicians.
In addition to Shakira hits you’re likely to hear such as 2009’s “She Wolf” and 2006’s “Hips Don’t Lie,” a round of “Happy Birthday” may be in order — the show falls on the singer’s birthday.

Who will sing the National Anthem?
Demi Lovato will belt out the National Anthem before the game gets going at 6:30 p.m. It will be her second live performance in quick succession; Lovato also performed at this year’s Grammy Awards.
Lovato will be joined by sound artist and performer Christine Sun Kim, who will sign the anthem in American Sign Language.
Who will sing ‘America the Beautiful’?
Yolanda Adams announced on her social media profiles that she will sing “America the Beautiful” on Sunday. The singer has earned five Grammy Awards over the course of her 13-album career, and the Recording Academy has called her the “queen of contemporary gospel.”

What about other performances?
On Jan. 19, the NFL announced that Pitbull, Dan + Shay, DJ Khaled, Demi Lovato, and Yolanda Adams will perform at the Fox Super Bowl LIV Pregame show, which will air Sunday at 2 p.m. on FOX.
The event will also feature an interview with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
