Moss goes back

Red Sox rookie outfielder Brandon Moss was optioned back to Triple-A Pawtucket, effective after last night’s game.

Moss had one hit in his seven plate appearances against the Angels in Anaheim.

For the past three games, Moss filled in for Eric Hinske, who was on leave for personal reasons.
