Actually the truck arrived yesterday.
The Red Sox equipment truck is currently being unloaded at the Red Sox minor league facility at the end of Edison Avenue in Fort Myers.
Driver Al Hartz, who has made the trip south with Red Sox spring training gear since 1998, pulled into Fort Myers in time for lunch on Monday. Upon his arrival, Al went to the Farmer’s Market, where he ordered the meatloaf with two glasses of juice.
Once the truck is unloaded at the minor league complex, Al will make the drive up the street and unload all the gear that’s going to City of Palms Park.
ABC7’s Noah Pransky has the video of the truck being unloaded today.
