Sox win, 7-4

Dodger rookie third baseman Blake DeWitt hit a two-out, two-run homer in the ninth off Jonathan Papelbon, but he struck out Jason Repko to end the Sox 7-4 win over the Dodgers. The announced crowd was a record 115,300, largest gathering ever to witness a baseball game.
