PHILADELPHIA – All indications are that Coco Crisp’s hand injury doesn’t appear serious.
Sox manager Terry Francona said Crisp’s left hand will be examined tomorrow in Boston. Francona described the injury as a strain in the top/middle of the hand. Francona said it hurt Crisp more to out the hand in his glove, but he injured it while swinging in the first inning and came out of the game in the third, replaced by Brandon Moss.
Francona didn’t seem to think Crisp would be out of the lineup on Friday.
