Sox make Rule 5 picks

LAS VEGAS — In a minor move, the Red Sox picked right-handed pitcher Miguel Marquez, who was on the roster of Seattle Mariners Double A affilliate, and Miguel Gonzalez, a 24-year-old right-handed pitcher on the Los Angeles Angels major league roster, in the Rule 5 Draft. Marquez, a 21-year-old from Venezuela, was the only player selected in the Double A portion.
