In Fort Myers, the line for Sox spring training tickets has begun

If Red Sox Nation is nervous about the way the team is shaping up for 2010, it hasn’t filtered down to Fort Myers, Fla., where the line has already formed to buy tickets for spring training games.

The News-Press reported Wednesday that Charlie Null set up a chair outside the ticket window at City of Palms Park around noon to become the first in line for the second straight year. According to an editor friend there, it’s the earliest anyone can remember someone starting the line.

The line is expected to grow by Thursday morning, and there should be a small tent city by Friday night. The tickets go on sale Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
