Cameron close to rehab assignment

Mike Cameron, who is scheduled to get checked out by the team doctor today, could start a minor-league rehab assignment early next week.

Jacoby Ellsbury is further behind Cameron, Terry Francona said.

Remember back when he first got hurt? Ellsbury was supposed to be out a couple of days. It’s going to end up being more than a month. His fractures have been slow to heal.
