Beating on the Blue Jays: The Red Sox swept a three-game series at Toronto April 26-28, winning 13-12, 2-1 and 2-0. The Blue Jays have won nine of 11 since.

No Lack of success: John Lackey is 3-3, 3.31 in 11 career starts against Toronto. He is 2-1, 2.57 in his last three starts for the Red Sox. He allowed one run over seven innings against the Angels last Wednesday.

Streaking Sox: Marco Scutaro has hit safely in 12 of the last 13 games. … J.D.
