Greetings from Gate E-72

Good morning from the Mike Alstott Interational Airport here in Tampa. We’re here waiting for a flight back home after covering what was a very successful road trip for the Red Sox.

Saw a few Sox fans in the security line this morning and they were smiling. By the end of the game yesterday, the only people left at Tropicana Field seemed to be cheering for the visiting team. I wonder how much money the Rays make selling tickets to Red Sox and Yankees fans? It has to be a lot.

Anyway, not much else to report. This has been a busy stretch with 11 of the last 13 games on the road. Time to head home, rest up, do some laundry and head back to the park tomorrow.
