The tarp is on the field at Fenway Park at the moment. No word on whether the game will be delayed. The skies are brighter at the moment. We’ll keep you posted.
A few notes on the Sox:
* Josh Beckett “feel good about himself,” according to Terry Francona. His bad back has not bothered him and he’s now into his daily throwing program, No ETA yet as to when he could come off the disabled list. He still needs to get on the mound, repeat that a few times and probably throw at least one rehab game.
* Daisuke Matsuzaka could throw a side session tomorrow. He seems to be fine.
* The Sox are excited about seeing Felix Doubront on Friday. John Farrell praised the young lefty’s approach this season, saying it started in spring training and has progressed from there.
