Futures at Fenway information

Here’s the information, via the Sox, on the Futures at Fenway minor-league doubleheader on July 10:

The fifth-annual Futures at Fenway minor league doubleheader will take place on Saturday, July 10. Similar to the four previous events, family-friendly ticket and concession prices along with kid-friendly activities will highlight this day

Kids and families attending the event will have a chance to participate in a number of exciting activities throughout the day. There will be a variety of kid-friendly activities such as a moon bounce, assorted carnival games, a balloon artist, a face painter and many other similar options throughout the ballpark. At the conclusion of the second game, kids with an accompanying adult will be invited to come down to the Fenway park field to participate in a brief game of catch. Kids will also be able to participate in mascot races and take part in other on-field activities. Additionally, youngsters will be able to get autographs from the players during autograph sessions scheduled on the Big Concourse.

There will also be discounted concessions available at the Fenway Park concession stands including Fenway Franks, soda, popcorn, candy and cotton candy.

In the first game of the doubleheader at 12:05 p.m., the Single-A Lowell Spinners will face the Jamestown Jammers. In the second game, the Carolina League Salem Red Sox will make their Futures at Fenway debut by battling the Potomac Nationals.
