Shealy to be added to roster

Ken Rosenthal of Fox is reporting the Red Sox will call up 1B Ryan Shealy from Pawtucket.

No word yet on the corresponding move.

Shealy is a former big league player (2005-08 with Colorado and Kansas City) who was signed to a minor-league deal last month after opted out of his deal with the Rays.

Shealy was a .271 hitter in the majors. He spent 18 games with Pawtucket this year, hitting .246 with two homers and eight RBIs.

In other news, Clay Buchholz is throwing in the bullpen now and appears to be OK. This is his first regular side session since he injured his leg.
