Nice ceremony for Todd Helton before his final home game with the Rockies. Helton spent 17 seasons with the Rockies and was presented a horse as a parting gift form the team to match the horse he recently bought on his farm.
Peyton Manning, who he backed up at quarterback at Tennessee, was in the dugout before the game. Former Red Sox righty Aaron Cook was also on hand. Helton took out the lineup card. Boston sent their own No. 17, Torey Lovullo, to exchange lineup cards.
