Move over Samsung, there’s a new endorsement for David Ortiz in town.
Ortiz announced on Tuesday that he has signed on to be the spokesperson for Dunkin’ Donuts.
“BIG news: I’m the new Dunkin’ Donuts spokesperson. Lots of Iced Coffees in my future! Follow @DunkinBoston & look for my commercials soon,” Big Papi tweeted.
Dunkin’ said Ortiz will appear in radio and television commercials and on the brand’s social media channels promoting iced coffee and various cold beverages.

Ortiz has had endorsement deals with many companies over the years including Reebok, JetBlue, Glaceau, D’Angelo’s, Easton, Sony Electronics, Dish Network, Pedigree, and had his own line of hot sauce.
News of the Ortiz endorsement with the Massachusetts-based coffee and donut chain was first announced on the @DunkinBoston twitter account on Monday. This is the second time Ortiz has partnered with the Canton-based company.
On April 1 at the White House, Ortiz famously tweeted out a selfie with President Obama that caused a firestorm after it was revealed that the Red Sox DH had a marketing deal with Samsung.
