Notes: De La Rosa had a rough start against the Tigers last weekend when he gave up four runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings… the Sox righty was impressive in his first start this season against Tampa Bay on May 31, when he pitched seven scoreless innings while striking out eight at Fenway… Chen — who is 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA in his two outings in June — is 1-1 with a 5.91 ERA in two starts against the Red Sox in 2014. He gave up four runs and a season-high 12 hits in 5 2/3 innings in a 4-3 loss to the Red Sox at Camden Yards back on April 3… Brock Holt, who remains red-hot after going 2-for-5 last night with the game’s only run scored, turns 26 years old today… The birthday boy has a 10-game hitting streak going… Dustin Pedroia has a 1.347 OPS against Chen… Koji Uehara has not allowed a run in his last 17 innings pitched and leads AL relievers this year with a 0.65 ERA…. Manny Machado is back in the lineup for the Orioles after the third baseman appealed his five-game suspension for tossing a bat in Sunday’s 11-1 loss to Oakland.
