Game 67: Lackey Looking for Win No. 8 Against Indians Tonight

Believe it or not, the Red Sox have won six games in a row at Fenway Park and look to take their second straight from the Indians tonight at the soggy ballpark.

Stephen Drew is out of the lineup for the fifth straight game with a sore left oblique, Jonathan Herrera is back at short. Xander Bogaerts is back at third base. And John Lackey takes the hill. Here are the lineups:

Notes: Lackey pitched eight strong innings in Sunday’s 5-3 win at Detroit, allowing two earned runs… The Sox righthander is 4-5 with a 5.16 ERA in his last 11 games against the Indians… Masterson limited the Red Sox to three hits over seven scoreless innings with a season-high 10 strikeouts in a 3-2 Indians victory on June 2… The former Red Sox righty is 2-1 with a 1.72 ERA over his last three starts with 19 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings… Daniel Nava, who went 3-for-4 last night, has hit safely in 13 of his 14 career games against the Tribe… Brock Holt went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs last night and has reached base safely in 19 of his 21 starts as the Sox leadoff hitter… Clay Buchholz is scheduled to go 5.0 innings in a rehab start with Pawtucket tonight vs. Charlotte …Will Middlebrooks is also slated to begin a rehab assignment with the PawSox tonight…The Red Sox have been successful in 11 of 13 stolen base attempts since May 11, the second best in the AL in that time.
