The focus around the Red Sox in the last 72 hours has been squarely on lefthander Jon Lester, and rightfully so, but the Sox rotation may lose another key piece before Thursday’s trade deadline.
John Lackey, he of the 3.60 ERA and 11-7 record, could also be on the move, according to Ken Rosenthal.

Lester is a short-term rental, but Lackey is under contract next season for a ridiculously low $500,000, a product of him missing the 2012 season due to injury.
