Game 139: Jemile Weeks in Tonight’s Red Sox Lineup, Will Middlebrooks Gets a Night Off


Jemile Weeks will get the start at second base tonight for the Red Sox at Yankee Stadium as Brock Holt moves over to third base with Will Middlebrooks getting the night off to catch a breather after a tough stretch at the plate.

The Red Sox also called up Brandon Workman today for the fourth time this season. The 26-year-old Workman is 1-8 with a 4.93 ERA in 16 games for Boston, including 12 starts. He was sent down to Pawtucket on Aug. 24 and made one start.
