Titans talk

A few comments from the Titans side:

Coach Jeff Fisher
On the block on Harrison
“I didn’t see the block, but it is permissible for a receiver to block low. I don’t know what the issue was. It’s unfortunate that Rodney [Harrison] did get hurt. I hope he’s OK. But receivers block low all the time in this league.”

WR Bobby Wade
On Harrison’s injury
“Rodney is a strong individual. I’ve got to block him in that slot position, but he takes full advantage of being able to hit somebody in the face. We’re just playing. We got in a hurry-up situation. We have a run called 16-stretch where the tailback is stretching the play. I have to come in and handle the force. Rodney was the force. I squared him up, looked him dead in the eye and hit him in his thighs. It was a legal block. I talked to the ref about it and he said it was legal. It’s just unfortunate that it happened. Rodney is an emotional guy.”

TE Bo Scaife
On the chippiness of the game
“I think they were just pissed off because of what happened to one of their guys (Harrison). They were retaliating. I’m glad we kept our composure. That type of thing is going to happen. That’s just football.”
