Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News writes a piece on quarterback Drew Bledsoe, saying Bledsoe should be remembered as a class act.
Archer reflects on attending the 1993 season finale at Foxboro Stadium, when Bledsoe hit Michael Timpson with a touchdown pass in overtime to beat the Dolphins. At the time, the Patriots were rumored to be moving to St. Louis for 1994.
“Robert Kraft ended up buying the team and the Patriots became the model franchise of the league. Bledsoe had something to do with that,” Archer wrote.
