Moss and Welker questionable

FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots passing attack could be severely hamstrung after Randy Moss (back) and Wes Welker (knee) were among 10 players the team listed on Friday’s injury report as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Falcons at Gillette Stadium.

Coach Bill Belichick said Welker would likely be a “game-time” decision, but did not shed any light on Moss’s status, as the team released its injury report well after Belichick’s news conference.

Moss, who made 12 catches for 141 yards in the season-opening 25-24 victory over the Bills but held to 4 receptions for 24 yards in a 16-9 loss to the Jets last Sunday, did not pop up on the team’s injury report until Friday when it was reported that he did not practice.

Welker, who was listed as inactive against the Jets after making 12 catches for 93 yards against the Bills, also did not practice Friday after returning to practice on Thursday. Rookie wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle) participated in a limited role in Friday’s practice but also was listed as questionable.
