How much is Kraft worth?

Tim Graham and his powerhouse of an AFC East blog pointed me to this story in Forbes on the World’s 1,011 billionaires.

As you might imagine, Patriots owner Robert Kraft is among them.

Kraft is, according to the Forbes list, the 655th wealthiest man in the world and — believe it or not — third in the AFC East, behind Johnson & Johnson heir Woody Johnson (Jets) and real estate tycoon Stephen Ross (Dolphins).

Ross and Johnson rank only behind Seahawks owner Paul Allen, who made a few bucks in computers and is worth $13.5 billion. Other than that, only high-powered businessman Malcolm Glazer (Buccaneers, and also Manchester United) and that ol’ oil wildcatter Jerry Jones (Cowboys) are higher up on this list than Kraft among NFL owners.

Fair or not, expect the union to be taking a close look at all these numbers as they ready for all that’s ahead.
