Panel on agents and ethics Friday night

Interested in the realm of sports representation and the ethics involved with representing athletes? If so, I’ll be hosting a panel tomorrow night at Suffolk University titled “Ethics in Athlete Representation.”

Even if you’re not and want to talk Patriots and/or the draft, I’m sure I could be enticed into venturing to a nearby drinking establishment to do so. So come anyways.

Here are the particulars for the panel, which is being put on by the Suffolk University Sport and Entertainment Law Association:

Where: Suffolk Law School (120 Tremont St), Room 295.
When: Friday from 6-7:30 p.m.
Cost: Free.


  • Josh Luchs: Former NFL Agent who was the subject of the Sports Illustrated Cover Story in October 2010. “Confessions of a Former Agent” revealed the dishonest practices between agents and soon-to-be professional athletes. In it, Luchs admitted he had paid college players.
  • Darren Heitner: CEO of Dynasty Athlete Representation and Creator of
  • Michael “Mook” Williams: Current Consultant/Agent for National Sports Management and Certified NFLPA Agent.
  • Warren Zola: Professional sports counseling panel chair at Boston College, where he assists BC student-athletes in their transition from college to the professional ranks.
