The Patriots are holding a full-pads practice on the fields behind Gillette Stadium, and there is some good news and bad news on the attendance front.
First, the positive: six players were in uniform whom we haven’t seen in full pads in while – Julian Edelman, Taylor Price, Brandon Tate, Ras-I Dowling, James Sanders and Shaun Ellis. A few of those players took part in Saturday’s practice, but that was basically a walkthrough; their participation today indicates real progress in terms of their health.
As for who wasn’t in uniform, it’s still a pretty long list:
Kevin Faulk (pup)
Marcus Cannon (NFI)
Brandon Deaderick (pup)
Ron Brace (pup)
Some of those players were working out with members of the strength and conditioning staff on a side field.
