FOXBOROUGH — Patriots rookie offensive lineman Marcus Cannon made his season debut at practice today as he joined the Patriots for their first practice of the week.
Cannon, who was drafted by the Patriots in the fifth round out of Texas Christian University, was treated earlier this year for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The Patriots were in sweats and shells on the lower field behind Gillette Stadium this afternoon. CB Ras-I Dowling and Matt Light. Tom Brady, who did not practice last week, also returned to practice.
The only player missing was linebacker Dane Fletcher.
The team will not have to release a participation/injury report until tomorrow.
