FOXBOROUGH — Aqib Talib, the talented by troubled cornerback who was acquired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Nov. 1 in exchange for a 2013 fourth-round draft pick, made his much-anticipated first appearance Wednesday at Patriots practice.
Talib, who wore No. 31, was noticeably present for Wednesday’s practice session in sweats and shells at the upper practice field behind Gillette Stadium, according to Globe colleague Michael Whitmer.
Guard Logan Mankins (calf/hip) and wide receiver Wes Welker (ankle) were not spotted during the media-access portion of practice.
Linebacker Tracy White, inactive for the last four games with a foot injury, returned to practice along with defensive end Trevor Scott, who had missed the last two games with an injured hamstring.
