FOXBOROUGH — Three Patriots — offensive guards Logan Mankins and Dan Connolly, and receiver Wes Welker — did not practice on Wednesday, according to the team’s injury/practice report.
Both Connolly (back) and Mankins (ankle/calf) left last Sunday’s game against the Bills with injuries. Welker appeared to roll his ankle late in the game, but was spotted in the locker room on Wednesday, and participated in a conference call with Indianapolis media earlier in the day.
Thirteen Patriots were listed with assorted injuries that limited their practice participation. Linebacker Tracy White (foot) and defensive end Trevor Scott (hamstring), both of whom missed practice last week, returned on Wednesday.
The other Patriots who were limited: defensive tackle Ron Brace (elbow), safeties Patrick Chung (shoulder/hamstring) and Steve Gregory (hip), tight ends Rob Gronkowski (hip) and Aaron Hernandez (ankle), linebackers Dont’a Hightower (hamstring) and Brandon Spikes (knee), receiver Brandon Lloyd (knee), offensive linemen Nick McDonald (shoulder) and Sebastian Vollmer (back/knee), and cornerback Malcolm Williams (thigh).
