FOXBOROUGH — Rob Gronkowski was one of three players who was not spotted at Patriots practice Wednesday, which was a light walk-through (no pads or helmets) inside the Dana-Farber bubble.
Gronkowski has missed three straight games with a broken forearm, and was projected to be out four to eight weeks.
The other two players not spotted during the portion made accessible to the media were linebacker Brandon Spikes and defensive tackle Kyle Love. Earlier on Wednesday, Love posted a Twitter message about the impending birth of his child, so his absence is likely excused and not related to injury.
Aqib Talib and Alfonzo Dennard, who left Monday’s games with injuries, were at practice. Talib suffered a hip injury, while Dennard had a hamstring issue.
