Rob Gronkowski activated for Sunday’s game

FOXBOROUGH — Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who suffered a broken forearm Nov. 18, will make his return after dealing with his injury for five weeks in Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

Gronkowski missed the last five games after the injury in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. He had surgery on Nov. 19. He was not listed among the inactives for Sunday’s game.

Patriots who are inactive for Sunday’s game are starting cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, safety Nate Ebner, defensive lineman Jake Bequette, offensive lineman Nick McDonald, wide receiver Kamar Aiken, cornerback Marquice Cole, and offensive lineman Markus Zusevics.

Dennard will likely be replaced by Kyle Arrington at the starting cornerback position.
