Patriots Re-Sign LS Danny Aiken and LB Chris White

FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots have a long-snapper again.

After cutting Danny Aiken during the final cutdown to the 53-man roster, the Patriots announced on Thursday that they re-signed the veteran long-snapper to the roster. Aiken has been the team’s long-snapper in all 48 regular season games and all seven postseason games since being awarded to the Patriots off waivers from the Buffalo Bills in 2011.

The Patriots also announced they have re-signed linebacker Chris White, who was released on Aug. 31. White is also a former Buffalo Bill (2011-2012) and was traded to the Detroit Lions for quarterback Thad Lewis. He was released before the 2013 season began, and signed with the Patriots to spend the season on their roster.

Additionally, the Patriots announced they re-signed quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson to the practice squad.
