Fans in Minneapolis Sound Off on the Vikings’ Benching of Adrian Peterson

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Vikings’ All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson did not play Sunday against the Patriots following an indictment from a Texas grand jury on charges of reckless or negligent injury to his son who was allegedly disciplined with a tree branch by Peterson.

Before today’s Patriots-Vikings game at TCF Bank Stadium, we caught up with Vikings fans — many whom were sporting Peterson’s No. 28 jersey — and asked them to share their thoughts on the charges against the 29-year-old running back.

While the reactions were mixed, nearly everyone had a strong opinion on the controversial subject.
