Former Giants Kicker Lawrence Tynes Trolls Patriots on Twitter

FOXBOROUGH — Haters gonna hate.
And we’ve got a Monday afternoon update. Lawrence Tynes is digging in his heels.
Tynes — an ex-placekicker for New York Giants teams that beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl in 2008 and 2012 — took to Twitter to hammer the 2014 AFC Champs late Sunday night.
And on Monday, he put his foot to the gas pedal and jumped head-first into #Deflategate. Tynes tweeted: “I see that time has not healed the wounds of the Patriots faithful. Hang in there. Correct PSI is 13 equipment guys, helps stick to helmets.”
That’s gonna leave a mark.
The “helps stick to helmets” shot across the bow is a reminder of the Eli Manning last-minute miracle heave to Giants receiver David Tyree in Super Bowl XLII in 2012 where Tyree’s famed “helmet catch” helped the G-men dispose of the Patriots in Indianapolis.

On Sunday, while the Patriots were opening up a can of whoop-ass on the Colts in the AFC Championship game, the former Giants kicker went looking for trouble online before the game was even over.
Tynes tweeted: “The Pats have learned to celebrate the hell out of those AFC Championships because the (sic) know what comes 2 weeks later. #0-2inGlendale.”

Ouch.
Wonder if Bill Belichick will be reading that one on Jimmy Kimmel’s “mean tweets” segment next week.
And Tynes wasn’t satisfied with just one salty slam. He had plenty more to say about Tom Brady’s team. Have a look at Tynes’s complete body of work below:
Do you think @RSherman_25 will do the “You Mad Bro” Part II after the @Seahawks win the Super Bowl. #SuperBowl

Maybe Tom Brady and Bill Belichick do the Ric Flair post game and we just haven’t seen video of it. #doubtful #NFLPlayoffs #Patriots

The facts are the facts. I sense the 10 year frustration in these tweets. Enjoy the AFC ring ceremony. They should have the process down

The @Patriots will have a shot in this Super Bowl, their not playing the #Gmen #NEvsSEA

*they’re
I’m glad I gave all of you something to do this evening. Research, memes, pictures, stats, grammar, etc.
You will wake up better tomorrow

But the Patriots weren’t alone in facing the wrath of Tynes. Even the Colts were crushed by one of his mean tweets:
The only good thing about this Indy loss is that Andrew Luck will shave that GROWTH on his face. I wanted Indy to win #nextyear

I’m sure this isn’t the last we’ll hear from Tynes once Patriots fans start firing off messages to him on Monday.
