The Detroit Red Wings have the octopus. The Florida Panthers have the rat. And apparently, the University of New Hampshire has the fish.

None of these animals are official mascots of each team, but each one has ended up on the ice repeatedly over their respective teams’ histories.

The fish didn’t seem to phase the Terriers, as Boston University went on to win the game, 3-2, in their last regular season home game of the season.
