Shortly after congratulating Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and the Patriots on advancing to Super Bowl LIII, President Donald Trump returned to Twitter to acknowledge another New England sports figure.

He said he believes former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling belongs in the Hall of Fame and credited him for thriving in key spots throughout his career. Schilling, who wrapped up his playing days with the Red Sox from 2004 to 2007, has been vocal in his support for Trump.

“Curt Schilling deserves to be in the Baseball Hall of Fame,” Trump wrote. “Great record, especially when under pressure and when it mattered most. Do what everyone in Baseball knows is right! @marklevinshow”

Schilling has the 15th most strikeouts all-time and posted a career 2.23 ERA in the postseason. The three-time World Series champion has said that his political comments have hurt his chances of getting in to this point. The Hall announces its new class of inductees Jan. 22.
