President Donald Trump attacked NBA star LeBron James in a savage late-night tweet that insulted the intelligence of one of the nation’s most prominent African-American men.

Trump made the remarks after CNN aired an interview with James conducted by Don Lemon but Lemon wasn’t the only person to respond (though he did). Fellow NBA players — current and former — as well as politicians, media mavens, and celebrities alike took to social media to make their thoughts on the matter clear.

LeBron steered clear of the controversy Saturday, tweeting about the $8 million school he opened in Ohio.
