Magic Johnson is clearly very excited that the Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly agreed to a trade to bring in superstar Anthony Davis.

The team’s former president of basketball operations is so fired up, in fact, that he tweeted four times in 12 minutes to convey how much he supports the decision.

In his first tweet, Johnson credited owner Jeanie Buss for making the deal happen. He said he believes the Lakers are back in the championship hunt and noted that he knows LeBron James has a big smile on his face.

He then reiterated the message three minutes later, pointing out once again that Buss stepped up. Johnson quit his job in April without telling Buss, but Johnson has made it clear he supports her fully going forward.

Johnson also credited general manager Rob Pelinka and pointed out that the Lakers have over $30 million in cap space to spend on free agents starting June 30. There’s been speculation that the Lakers might go after Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker, but there are several different directions the team could go.
