* Rosevelt Colvin’s sack upped his season total to 2 ½, which leads the team.
* The 17-play drive by the Falcons, which resulted in a Todd Peterson field goal, was the longest sustained march against the Patriots this season. The previous longest sustained drive was a San Diego 15-play drive that resulted in a Nate Kaeding field goal last week.
* Time of possession in the second quarter: Falcons 8:32; Patriots 4:52.
* The second quarter continues to be the Patriots’ worst this season. The team entered the game having given up 31 points, while scoring 17 points. After being outscored 13-0, it’s now a 44-17 split.
