Charles Schulz’s famous work will soon be displayed in The Hall at Patriot Place in Foxborough with the opening of the Pigskin Peanuts traveling exhibit. The exhibit will run from Feb. 1 until April 30.
The exhibit, which will be organized and toured by the Charles M. Schulz Museum, will contain 50 football-oriented Sunday and daily comic strips featuring Charlie Brown, Woodstock, Snoopy and other popular Peanuts characters.
Visitors will be able to view football-themed Peanuts memorabilia, dress up in the team locker room, take photos on a football trading card, and have a go at “pulling the football’’ from Charlie Brown, according to the press release.
Schulz has created over 250 football-related Peanuts comic strips over the course of his career, including the renowned “Fall Classic’’ where Lucy pulls the ball away from Charlie Brown just as he is about to kick it.
