Former Patriots lineman Logan Mankins will reportedly retire

He spent nine of his 11 seasons with the Patriots.

Logan Mankins is calling it a career after 11 NFL seasons, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The offensive lineman spent nine seasons with the New England Patriots before the team traded him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he spent two seasons.

The Patriots selected Mankins in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played 161 games during his career, the most by an offensive lineman since 2005. The seven-time Pro Bowler reportedly played the entire 2011 season with a torn ACL.
