After being cut by the Patriots on Wednesday, defensive tackle Dominique Easley showed his gratitude for having the opportunity to play in New England by posting a thank you note on his Instagram account.

The Boston Globe reported Thursday that the team released the former first-rounder after issues regarding his attitude came into fruition, including his maturity and ability to handle being a professional athlete.

The 24-year-old had 24 tackles, three sacks, and one interception in 22 games with the Patriots over two years.
