Bill Belichick loved the Patriots’ early field goal block against the Falcons

The first quarter of the Patriots’ Sunday night matchup with the Falcons ended just as it did in Super Bowl LI: scoreless. The shutout was helped by a Patriots field goal block, executed to perfection by defensive end Cassius Marsh.

Bill Belichick, not normally one to show too much emotion on the sideline, was excited by the special teams play, which denied the Falcons a chance at a 37-yard field goal:
