Charlie Weis shared what he sent Tom Brady during Sunday’s Patriots-Raiders game
One of Tom Brady’s former coaches has a message for him.
After Brady’s 64-yard touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks in the third quarter against the Raiders on Sunday, Charlie Weis sent the quarterback a short text. Weis — the Patriots offensive coordinator from 2000-2004 — was by no means extolling the 40-year-old’s game time heroics, however. Rather he had some feedback regarding Brady’s entertainment value.
“First score in third quarter,” Weis wrote. “You’re getting boring to watch.”

During Weis’s tenure in New England, Brady threw a total of 52 regular-season interceptions over the course of four seasons. He has thrown just four picks in the past two years.
