As the NFL coaching carousel picks up speed Monday with underperforming teams parting ways with their coaches, there’s a ripple effect in New England.

The Patriots’ offensive and defensive coordinators — Josh McDaniels and Matt Patricia — will be among those in the running to fill the vacancies. So far, the Colts, Bears, Raiders, Lions, and Giants are in the market for a new coach.

Here’s a look at some of the reports that connect the Patriots coaches to the openings, although both had little to say on the matter in their conference calls with reporters Monday.

“Not aware of anything at this point,’’ McDaniels said.

“I have no idea on any of that,’’ Patricia said. “I’m in normal mode.’’

■ ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Giants have submitted a request to interview McDaniels as part of their search for a successor to Ben McAdoo.

■ CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reported McDaniels is “top of list’’ for the Bears as they look for John Fox’s replacement.

■ McDaniels is also reportedly one of three candidates the Colts are expected to interview. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and Chiefs special teams coach Dave Toub are others to watch in Indianapolis’s search for Chuck Pagano’s replacement.

■ The NFL Network reported that the Lions, who fired Jim Caldwell after four seasons, “are expected to interview’’ Patricia because they are focusing on “defensive minds.’’ His competition could include Texans defensive coordinator and former Patriots player Mike Vrabel, and Panthers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks, according to NFL.com.

■ The Giants are interested in interviewing Patricia and have submitted a request, according to ESPN and several New York/New Jersey media outlets.
