Danny Amendola gets his feet down to score the game-winning touchdown in the AFC Championship.

With a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, Danny Amendola stepped up — literally — when his team needed him most.

Amendola’s leaping catch of Tom Brady’s pass with just under three minutes remaining gave the Patriots a 24-20 lead against the Jaguars in the AFC championship. Eventually, New England made the lead stand up, securing another Super Bowl berth.

On the scoring play, Amendola’s leap was immediately followed by a skillful move to get both feet down and inbounds as he held onto the ball:

Amendola made several major receptions in the game, including a critical 3rd and 18 in an earlier scoring drive, which also culminated in the 32-year-old receiver making a scoring catch:
