In a clip of the final episode of “Tom vs. Time’’ that aired on “Good Morning America’’ on Wednesday, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady shared the effect New England’s Super Bowl LII loss had on his three children and the lesson he tried to teach them from it.
“That was the first time that I’d seen my kids really react in that way,’’ he said in the clip. “You know, Benny was crying, Vivi was crying and they were sad for me and sad for the Patriots. But I just said to them, ‘Look you guys this is a great lesson. We don’t always win. We try our best and sometimes it doesn’t go the way we want.’ ’’
The sixth and final episode of “Tom vs. Time,’’ the Facebook Watch series featuring Brady, will be posted Monday. Brady will appear on ABC’s “Good Morning America’’ live on Monday morning to promote and discuss the series.
“Good Morning America’’ co-host Michael Strahan, the former New York Giants star and Hall of Famer, is a co-founder of Religion of Sports, the production company that helped create “Tom vs. Time,’’ along with Brady and series creator Gotham Chopra.
