Patriots top pick Isaiah Wynn suffered a left ankle injury late in the first quarter of Thursday night’s exhibition game against the Eagles. Wynn was seeing his first preseason action and was playing right tackle, a new position for him.

Wynn replaced LaAdrian Waddle for the second possession of the game. He returned for the third possession but had to limp off the field after the first play.

Wynn spent a brief time in the medical tent before he was carted to the locker room with his shoe and sock off. The Patriots listed him as questionable to return.
