ATLANTA — Patriots coach Bill Belichick is probably a fan of the team apparel for Super Bowl Opening Night at State Farm Arena Monday.
On Saturday, Nike and the New Era unveiled the hoodies the Patriots and Los Angeles Rams will be wearing when they speak to the media for the first time in Atlanta — and the design looks awfully familiar. The gray sweatshirts feature the Super Bowl LIII logo, the respective team logos, the players’ number, and none other than cut-off sleeves à la Belichick’s signature look. The hoodie is made of “super-soft water-repellent fabric” and has “zippered ventilation,” per Nike.
Belichick, however, likely won’t be matching the players. In years past, he has opted to wear a suit jacket and tie for Opening Night’s festivities.
