Patriots left tackle Isaiah Wynn will be placed on injured reserve after a foot injury he suffered in New England’s Week 2 win over the Dolphins, according to ESPN. The Georgia product will miss a minimum of eight weeks.
The Patriots have struggled with health along the offensive line since the summer, as right tackle Marcus Cannon also has been in and out of the lineup in the early going and center David Andrews was lost for the season because of blood clots in lungs.
In Wynn’s absence, veteran Marshall Newhouse, who was signed last week, played both left and right tackle against Miami, and could be in line for more work.
The 22-year-old Wynn missed the 2018 season with a torn Achilles’.
