There was a Patriots reunion at Super Bowl LIV
The Patriots aren’t playing in Super Bowl LIV, but some familiar faces gathered on the field at Hard Rock Stadium Sunday evening.
As part of the league’s celebration of its 100th season, coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady posed for a photo with former Patriots Rob Gronkowski, Randy Moss, and Adam Vinatieri prior to kickoff. The five, donning red jackets, were all named to the NFL 100 All-Time Team. Though he was not included in the photo, former Patriots left guard John Hannah also participated in the pregame presentation.
Upon being introduced, Belichick was greeted with boos.
He responded by flexing three of his Super Bowl rings.

Brady also shared a photo with the other quarterbacks named to the NFL 100 All-Time team, including Brett Favre, John Elway, Roger Staubach, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, and Dan Marino.
“It’s not often you get to meet your idols,” he wrote in the caption. “In this picture, I was lucky enough to be with almost all of them. I am so thankful for them inspiring me to be the best I could be! This is truly my dream, coming true.”
